check it!! just the running list for the vacationland June mixtape — a busy mind. at something like 35 tracks already, the rough edits are sounding gr8 so far. will try to keep it under an hour, which is barely doable. sounds good?

Here’s another great funkin remix from RAC that sounds unlike your traditional remix and more like the Doobie Brothers & The Whitest Boy Alive are doing remixes for DFA. Seriously, go to about 3:10 and you’ll understand exactly what I mean. The original vocals from Princeton are as integral to the remix as all of the instrumentation; equalled. It’s one of the few remixes that do the vocals justice. Great work here. Princeton, on their own, will remind you of an upbeat Sigur Ros, a less midi heavy Delorean, an orchestral Hot Chip. Gotta love when a remix introduces you to a band that you’ll like as much as the producer doing the new version.

Here’s Princeton’s Grand Rapids (RAC Remix)

BONUS: Hit up Princeton’s tumblr for some excellent graphic design and more of their tunes. Great branding, dudes.
