This is Brooklyn Based huge fucking 17 piece band Escort, led by Adeline Michèle (pictured right with two backup singers). They are very talented — it’s like Nile Rodgers was Angel in the Outfield here, though he’s still living, and they aren’t working with Thomas Bangalter — at least not yet. Expect more from these guys.

these guys were hilarious

there were a lot of parents chillin HARD with kids all over the place and it wasn’t awkward like ‘fuck I can’t smoke at this bar because there are 3 baby bjorns surrounding the fire pit.’ it was more like look at this dad rocking out in the GA front row with the smell of 5-10 strains in the air. he had to fight to get there and fight to stay there for sure. also imagine giving the responsibility talk to your kid while I can’t go for that (no can do) is blaring in the background. that’s called “baller status.” a lot of future hipsters running around. fun for all ages as it’s said.

looks like we can finally lay the hippie parents at festivals cliché to rest. very few hippies out for this music festival, though Brooklyn is the hippest place on the planet.
